"Yeah. He's such a poser."

"I saw a guy wearing a Motley Crue shirt at an Exodus show, so I beat him up and stole his condoms."
"Fuck yeah! Posers must die!"

Poser

A person who gives people the idea to think that they skate, when they really don't. An example of what a poser wears is Thrasher and anything from Zumiez. Some posers ride penny boards, which doesn't make them any less of a poser, but let's just be honest - at least they go on wheels. If you're a beginner skater, you aren't a poser, because you actually skate. If you're called a poser for being a beginner, kick that person in the balls.

Only posers wear Thrasher!

Someone who tries to come off as serious and as someone who doesn't take themself too seriously at the same time, without really being either one.

Lindsay, the mollycoddle girl, was the kind of poser who would try to make fun of scientists then become the scientist. The same kind of person who would try to ridicule routine and responsibility, then pose as a serious person when it was convenient.

Poser

Someone who acts like they're from Baltimore even though they're from outside Harrisburg. Someone who has not only a thousand different screen names or online profiles, but also has fictional hometowns or current locations, fictional lives to go with them. A poser tries to outdo other people at silliness while trying to get taken more seriously than everyone else.

The poser was always this and that, always under somebody else's skin to make himself/herself look/feel more authentic. The poser wanted an authentic image.
