porcupine complex

A insecurity complex that manifests itself as arrogance and pompous behavior.

I honestly believe that he acts so abrasivly arrogant in order to compensate for how short he is. Everyone knows a man who is so insecure about his height or himself in general comes across that way. For sure, this guy has a porcupine complex by using his harsh, pompous and cocky characteristics as his shield of armor.

Usually, fallacy is a result regarding your judgement.

The purposeful complication of a process, policy, or offer in order to substantially reduce clarity, usually in hope that consumers of such will overlook a portion to their detriment.

The lawyers who drafted my latest auto insurance policy found a way to fill it with 127 pages of legalese. This is definitely artificial complexity, as it could've easily been conveyed in 10 pages.

Jesus Complex

When a person believes someone (who won or didn't win the presidency, politicians in general) or some fairytale entity (jesus, the devil) is responsible for why their lives suck and bad things always happen to them and allow those entities to instill fear (fear of going to hell, fear of becoming "cattle breeding" by men if Trump wins etc). A true adult takes accountability and responsibility for their own life, outcomes, happiness, and as such creates the life they want without blaming anyone else. Blaming others keeps one in a state of being a child, sheeple, as they never grow up and are truly responsible for their own actions.

You better watch what you say to Toie, she has Jesus Complex... she'll use anything you say as the reason her entire life was ruined and sucks, and blame you instead of woman-up and take responsibility for her own shitty decisions in life.

Wish Complex

Just wishing for something to happen everyday/everytime. But you don't want it to actually happen so you can carry on wishing. Even if the thing you want brings you happiness. You still put up with what you have still wishing for the better. Even if you have the opportunity to get said "wish". You'll do anything out of your power to avoid doing it.

Guy 1: I wish i had a netflix account, I'll just put up with the ads on these sketchy websites(123movies etc)
Guy 2: Just buy it, it'll be worth it.
Guy 1: Yeah I want to, I just, I don't know.
Guy 2: Hesitation? Sounds like a wish complex to me.
