TiVA

This is a "TiVO Diva".
A person, usually female, who will not under any circumstances abandon their TiVO for another source of digital video recording.
They have multiple season passes active at any given time, have the hard drive filled to capacity at all times, and rarely allow family members access to the television for the watching of other non-TiVO events, such as football or video games.

Rational Husband: "Honey, if we change satellite providers, we can get a high-definition DVR with 500 hour capacity and all the channels they offer for $5 less per month than we pay now."

TiVA: "Do we get to keep the TiVO?"

Rational Husband: "We cannot."

TiVA: "NO."

Tiverton

A small town in RI where, as already noted the children all smoke pot and the parents interfere with the coaching, but what you may not know is that everyone either lives in a McMansion or a trailer-park and the parents think the way to educate their children is to undermine the schools and the schools ask for it by hiring predatory males as behavioral specialists...just to make quota. The only critique of the previous posts/definitions is that the locals were called tall Portuguese gentleman... tall and gentlemanly may be stretches, but in general all these definitions have remarkable accuracy and point to the the strength of internet democracy experiments such as Urban Dictionary and Wikipedia: Good job all!

Being of the times that are parallel to another even; being up to date within a time frame that is current. Similar to topical but within time.

I am reading the article in Forbes that is timeacle to the 1800's.

Timeafied

A community of people believing in a falsehood. Society may have led them to excepting misguided information, misnomer.

1. Americans are timeafied, most actually believe that washed clothing, is free of caustic detergent and won't transfer to their skin.

2. People believe that showering and soaping down daily, is healthy.
