Friend: "Are you looking forward to the exam tomorrow?"
You: "Yes, sure! I can think of anything more exciting whatsoever!"
Friend: "Yeah me too :)"
You: "You know that was sarcasm, right?!"
Friend: "Sure, I knew that!"
You: "Sure..."

Similar to irony, only worse and less subtle.
1. A form of wit intended to make its victim the butt of contempt or ridicule, by saying something when you mean the opposite (the 'victim' should know this, other wise it won't work).
2. Intended to be bitter.
Was once witty, but is now worn out and over-used, which has resulted in losing it's impact greatly.
Is considered a part of 'dry humour' or 'dry wit'.

e.g.
A. Do I look fat in this dress?
B. No dear you look absolutely.... beautiful. (It would be sarcasm if B actually meant to say 'ugly' instead of 'beautiful)

When used correctly and appropriately, often the most witty form of humour. To describe it primatively, think Chandler from friends!

A form of humor that uses the contrary of what you really mean. By etimology and use is mostly used as an unsoliced attack and as a tool of bullyng by simple minds. Its not that witty and does not make you clever. No one has got efficient reply to sarcasm becayse it comes from the perception bu the user of sarcasm that the one using it is superior. Its just like bullying and used with the intention to offend. It can be good if used intelligently not to mock people that have done or said nothing mean to you
Sarcasm is exclusionary because is used toward neurodivergent people and towards lower class or education and sometimes towards "inferior" races
Sarcasm is not funny
Sarcasm is not creative but distructive
Most neurotypical people detect sarcasm its not "insulting "idiots" without them realizing" but they are too offended or they are afraid that you will overreact if they responds with another insults
