A method of writing something down before you forget, whether on a piece of paper or on your arm or hand. May also include calling your own phone and leaving yourself a voice message, or emailing yourself. Basically a self-reminder.

Roommate 1: Can you give me a ride to the airport on Friday? My flight leaves at 6.
Roommate 2: Yeah hold on a sec, I'm gonna write that on a sticky note, just for memory insurance.

memory cramp 

When a stimuli triggers memories causing intense feelings that may appear to be associated with shame or regret; very painful, but of a mental kind, they may be so short that one cannot comprehend the memory.

Seemingly to be a side effect of stimulants.

I think I found a scientific term for this once, but I don't remember it.

When I'm with others and clench my fist or make a squeak, I don't have to lie anymore, I can honestly say "just a memory cramp"

A person memory drags 3 to 4 bad ideas before it finds the one good. This happens with age. My dad used to have great ideas. Now he's dumb as fuck!

I will come up with a good idea tomorrow after my memory drags for the rest of the day.
