I'll Alert The Media

A sarcastic remark saying you don't care. Usually said after someone says something incredibly stupid or random. It originated from the movie "Arthur" where Arthur tells his valet, Hobson, he's going to take a bath. Hobson, not caring, says "I'll alert the media."

Arthur: Hobson
Hobson: Yes, Arthur
Arthur: You know what I think I'm going to do?
Hobson: What, Arthur
Arthur: I'm going to take a bath
Hobson: I'll alert the media...

Ben- "Dude, Megan Fox said in an interview with GQ that she loves to smoke weed!"

Slang phrase for "I'll accept that gladly" from the movie Robocop.

Derived from a slang phrase in a famous scince fiction story "The Marching Morons" by C.M.Kornbluth, in which a popular catchphrase for asking 'would you believe it?' was "Would you buy it for a quarter?". In the intervening years, inflation has been occurring.

I'll have a sandwich

When a conversation is going on around you that you don't quite understand or care about. Then someone asks for your fucking opinion.
BACKSTORY: An old lady is calling out 'nurse! nurse!' for fucking ages at a retirement home, which causes an old man to wake up and groggily say, "Huh what? Yeah i'll have a sandwich..." then fall back asleep.

University Lecturer: ...and that's why the principle states, in regards to microeconomics, that demand is infinate but resources are finite. What's your opinion on this Steve?
Steve: Yeah I'll have a sandwich *walks off*
