Tree
Your love with him…
Is just like me…
A strong, sturdy trunk…
For those days you are in a funk.
Branches with beautiful green leaves…
Reminds you to always believe…
Even when in the wind they blow…
They are merely giving you a dancing show…
The extravagant colors in the fall..
Telling you Love will conquer all…
Always have faith in me…
And believe in your dream…
Is just like me…
A strong, sturdy trunk…
For those days you are in a funk.
Branches with beautiful green leaves…
Reminds you to always believe…
Even when in the wind they blow…
They are merely giving you a dancing show…
The extravagant colors in the fall..
Telling you Love will conquer all…
Always have faith in me…
And believe in your dream…

tree
ugly beyond belief. (Not to be confused with a real tree, like a beautiful maple tree.) Derivation of original saying "she looks like she's been hit with an ugly stick." To bring this stick analogy one step further, one would say, "she looks like she fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down." This latter colloquialism has been shortened to just "tree".
