Colloquial teen slang, originating from the eastern seaboard of Australia, specifically the New south wales peninsula. to 'tell it' is to activaly participate in the chosen conversation/context.

example 1(conversation):
cuz1-"hey cuz, i got roots last night"
cuz2-"tell it!"

example 2(context):
cuz1-"hey cuz, theres a party in ettalong tonight"
cuz2-"Should we tell it?"

Tell Hell

A flood of private communication from multiple sources that cause sensory overload in the recipient, rendering him or her unable to carry on any of the multiple conversations in a timely manner. So named because in early MMORPGs (such as Everquest) which emphasized such social interaction, the command to send a private message to another user was /tell.

When recounting a "tall story", the response "Tell it to the Marines" implies, "Go and tell your sea-story to some gullible landlubber, because no sailor will believe you".

Dates back to the before the Napoleonic wars, in the Royal Navy.
