He is known for his impressive kickboxing career but also for his failing mma career. With a mixed martial arts record of 3 wins and 7 losses (5 of those losses came by way of knockout but 6 were from strikes altogether). Kim was made most famous for his one sided loss against Brock Lesnar who after taking Kim down within the first few seconds of the bout, proceeded to punch him in the head until he submitted.
If there was a glass jaw, then Kim's jaw would be made of fine china. Before his fight against Lesnar, he was best known for being put to sleep by well known fighters such as Bob Sapp, Ray Sefo, a seasoned Don Frye, and Mighty Mo Siliga.
Weaknesses aside, Kim is known for his heart in coming out to fight again even after a loss.
