movie producer is an old (mid 1980's to early 90's) expression to define men who took women to hotel/motels that had "in room cameras." Sometimes concealed. The object was to record their sexual exploits.
The men said they were"movie producers" and this was the only warning the women received. Some understood others did not. There was an extra fee for the tape/s. The current furor over posting of "revenge tapes" is based on the mis-use of these videos.

Battlecat (record producer) or battlecat for short ,
Kevin Gilliam (born April 20, 1968), better known by his stage name Battlecat, is an American hip hop record producer & DJ from South Los Angeles, California.
He is well known for producing artists such as Snoop Dogg, 2pac , The Game, Xzibit & Tha Eastsidaz along with a number of other West Coast rappers. His aesthetic is a progression from the early-'90s G-Funk sound pioneered by Above the Law and Dr. Dre, characterized by fat synth bass lines and soulful keys. He is also the concert DJ for Snoop Dogg. As a youth he was a member of the Neighborhood Rollin 60s crip, because of this he has also produced instrumentals for the 1993 album "Bangin' on wax" by rap collaboration Bloods & Crips which went Gold.
He has countless articles of his work and profession
And is considered A LIVING WESTCOAST LEGEND.
