A ridiculous event ( that took place in Montreal Canada on January 11, 2015) in which people took the metro wearing no pants, but underwear.

marathon monday

Marathon Monday is often considered, among Bostonians, as the greatest day of each year. Falling on the third Monday of April, the marathon provides a race as a backdrop to the biggest day of drinking and legalized hookie-playing found anywhere in the country.

Over at BC the day takes on even more epic proportions, where all classes are cancelled as the race runs right past campus making it impossible for teachers and commuter students to get there. It's basically just a huge excuse to get wasted…really wasted…like blackout by 11:00 AM wasted. The stringent community and campus official restrictions on drinking are relaxed for the day and an anything goes mentality pervades. In short it’s a total shit show and every college student’s dream.

Long Island MacArthur Airport

A mid-sized regional airport, a little bigger than La Guardia, located in Ronkonkoma NY, the center of Long Island. Southwest Airlines is the most busy there, with non-stop flights to Chicago, Las Vegas, Palm Beach, Ft Lauderdale, Orlando, Tampa, Baltimore, and Nashville. American Airlines is the second most busiest, with non-stop flights to Cleveland and Atlanta. Delta has non-stop flights to Cincinatti and Atlanta. Continental flys non-stop to Boston, and US-Air flys non-stop to Philadelphia. Other small airlines come and go. There is also a flight school there, with LOTS AND LOTS of small planes (cessna, piper, beechcraft ect.), which are also rentable.

It cost less to use LI MacArthur rather than JFK or La Guardia.

O'marathon

A long run comprising of 18 miles or more done purely for the sake of enjoying the scenery and environment of where the participant is running. Popular amongst high school and college runners in the Western Pennsylvania distance running community, it was created by the great American Distance Runner Timothy O'Mara.
