Doing something (typically by sacrificing your manhood) in order to attempt to instantly get laid after the action or gesture. It usually involves taking a blow to your pride in advance in order to gain a "profit" in the near future.

Jim : "Hey man what're you up to tonight?"
Bob : "Taking Stacey to go see Twilight man."
Jim : "In a normal situation that'd be gay but that chick's banging. Looks like you're hoping for the instalay."
