Funeral Fibs

Exaggerated compliments people make about a person who has just died. He may have been a horrible person in life, but you can bet that almost everyone will have great things to say about this person as he lies in his coffin.

"Yes, Joe was killed in the act of trying to rob a bank; yes, he was armed, and threatened to kill the teller; but just think what a good son he was to his mom! Remember how he went out on a snowy night to get her cold medicine? Joe will really be missed for the kind things he did."

"Yes, Joe always meant well. He just wanted the money to buy a birthday present for his grandma. What a caring young man he was".

Thoughts of the minister who is about to deliver the eulogy: "Boy, I've never heard such Funeral Fibs in my life!"

A very sad ceremony if dead person was your friend. It's something really unbelievable. Some says it's pointless but if you want to be with your friend untill the last minute it's very important to be there.

Funeral is the ceremony filled with real pain and fake sympathy.

fundie

Any person that clings to a belief despite evidence to the contrary. Most often a Christian of one denomination or the other, though there are fundies of all religions. Typically are very condescending to any belief but their own, many advocate the erradication of every other form of religion. Often hypoctritical.

Matt is a fundie douche that advocates the genocide of all religions but Evangelist Christianity.

Carolline is an atheist fundie that wishes for religion of all forms to be forcefully ended.

A fundamentalist; a Christian whose ideas are completely in-line with church dogma. Fundies, for the most part, do not think for themselves, and are often frighteningly evangelical.

Synonymous with Jimmy.
