Everybody eats

A phrase that is another way of saying “we take care of everyone.” It’s a shorter version of “no one goes home hungry,” and it has expanded to a definition that’s broader than food.

Johnny: “Did you get a raise?”

Pete: “I did, but I advocated for a raise for our support staff too. Everybody eats.”

All people whose existence the speaker deigns to acknowledge. Generally limited to those with similar interests and vocabulary.

Everybody knows that Super Metroid is the greatest game ever made. (everybody = video gamers who have played Super Metroid, whose favorite genre is the adventure-platformer)

Everybody lost money in the dotcom bust. (everybody = investors in the dotcom bubble)

a term used on stan twitter to describe a major event or cause (the opposite of “nobody moved” via stan twitter)

e.g : Sarah - OMG BEYONCE JUST RELEASED A NEW SONG!

The act of taking a photo of 2 or more people, yourself not included. Opposite of a selfie.

There is always at least one person blinking in an everybodyelsie.

An impossible occurrence. It's simply not physically allowed by our universe. On other realities, where it is actually possible to a degree, it happens when a statement is so relevant that it is not stupid to remark the fact that everyone had a certain question
