An extremely selective and prestigious liberal arts college in southern California. It is the thirteenth most selective college/ university in America. It has a 13% acceptance rate and is ranked 8th best liberal arts school in the nation. The students are stereotypically white, rich, smart, ambitious and many are athletic. The school's emphasis on leadership attracts proactive, pragmatic and well-spoken students. CMC's small size and relatively new creation makes it less well known than comparable schools. However, those who pay attention to collegiate rankings will know it.
