beyond scared straight

A reality show where defiant teens are forced to spend a day (and sometimes a night) in jail, interacting with convicted felons who give them first-hand experience of life behind bars with the hope that they see where the path of destruction they are headed down could lead them.

It fun to watch Beyond Scared Straight and see troublesome and stupid brats get a much-needed attitude adjustment by visiting prison and getting verbally abused by inmates and prison staff.

A person with blonde hair; a hair color. Blondes are often stereotyped. Someone's hair color has no effect on their intelligence and little effect on their behavior, aside from the fact that people may change to fit what society expects of them. Not all blondes are dumb or attractive.

The archetypical Cajun song, supposedly written by a prisoner about a beautiful woman who left him for another. It is considered the unofficial Cajun anthem. The painter George Rodrigue made an especially touching and effective painting of this fictional character, who has replaced the insipid Evangeline as representative of the Cajun sensibility.

It's not a fais-do-do (impromptu dance attended by people of all ages) unless the band plays "Jolie Blonde."

Beyond cool

Someone who is extremely far off from a loser. He/she is cooler than the coolest. This person is so far above cool, he/she cannot be descried as awesome or cool, but beyond cool. In other words, breath taking.

Linette is beyond cool, I wish I was her, I can't come to describe how cool she is. Will is a loser. Inyoung is not a loser, but is not cool. Andrew is cool. He is close to Linette, but not there yet.
