Dr. Cossack

Referencing a character from Mega Man 4 on the NES of the same name, a Dr. Cossack is any character in a story who at first seems to be the main antagonist, but then you find out that he/she is really just the slave or middle man of the true, often more threatening antagonist.

In Mega Man 4, it seemed as though Dr. Cossack was the new evil scientist on the block. He built 8 powerful Robot Masters and had them conquer different areas around the world and challenged Mega Man to try and stop him. After penetrating Dr. Cossack's fortress however, Proto Man teleports in with Dr. Cossack's daughter, Kalinka, who explains that he was only following orders from Dr. Wily (The main series villain) because the mad scientist had her captured and threatened to harm her if Dr. Cossack didn't obey him. After Dr. Wily was defeated, Dr. Cossack actually demonstrated himself to be a nice guy. He even helped Dr. Light (good guy scientist) build Beat (Robot attacking bird) to assist Mega Man in his future ventures.

Famous Ukrainian rebel warrior of 15-18th centuries. Correctly written from Ukrainian - Kozak

Also Ukrainian kozaks greatly influenced the formation of Russian cossacks (KAZAK in Russian).
Those had their share of fame much later on in 19-20th centuries.

Around half of Russian cossacks are Ukrainian by blood.

You'd be surprised to know that the famous Russian Cossack dancing is not russian at all. The cossack dance such as GOPAK is actually from Ukraine.

(1) a structure you build in the strategy game Starcraft (communications satellite) that allows a player on one side to have a small portion of a darkened map location to be revealed for a time period; (2) to spy over a LAN game; (3) a cheating tactic employed during network or LAN game sessions; (3b) to clandestinely peek or have a friend peek over the shoulders of another player during a LAN game (especially in an internet/network gaming setup), usually to "reveal" the enemy player's location--such as the position of a hidden "colony" in strategy-type games or one's map location in a game such as Counterstrike--to gain unfair advantage.
