Transpondster

The incorrect term used by the character Rachel Greene(Jennifer Aniston) on the television show "Friends" for the job of the character Chandler Bing, a.k.a "Ms. Chnandler Bong" (Matthew Perry). The job has something to do with the WENUS. Which makes Chandler very unhappy.

Ross: What is Chandler Bing's Job?
Rachel: Oh! I know! I know! He's a...a...he's a transpondster!
Monica: THAT'S NOT EVEN A WORD!!!

transponster

Originating on a "Friends" episode, Rachel incorrectly names Chandler's data processing job as a "transponster". Transponster is now commonly used to describe an office job not clearly defined as one role/responsibility, but a combination of data entry and analysis. This sort of role is difficult for the employee to describe to friends or family, often sounding boring, confusing or both to those outside the office environment.

Working in the revenue department of a hotel, the e-commerce specialist is often found performing a number of tasks outside of "e-commerce". These tasks can include forecasting, reporting, data entry and analysis, along with a monotony of other day-to-day tasks. Not easily defined, she is commonly referred to as a "transponster" by friends and coworkers.

The Transcontinental Railroad

First, you have locate a girl from the west coast and a girl from the east coast. Then, you have to find a solid gold dildo. Once you've aquired the solid gold dildo, you give it to the girls, who proceed to use it. This unites the west coast and east coast with a gold spike. Grant would be proud.

transconsole, adj.

a video game that had been created for more than one same generation video game console under the same name with little or no difference in the gameplay.

Thankfully, the Sims 3 is transconsole because I can only play it on my PS3; my computer is broken for the time being.
