raptor strategy

A phrase that describes a specific team tactic, originally used in Call of Duty 2. One team member attracts the attention of the opposing side while another team member engages in a flanking maneuver. The term references the attacking scheme used by velociraptors in the movie Jurassic Park.

Raptor Surprise

A phrase that if yelled at a party, justifies ANY otherwise taboo action or statement that precedes it.

Can be used in any situation.

You are blackout drunk and a kid tries to get you to vomit for your own good at a party. You pull a knife out on him and everybody freaks out and then you scream RAPTOR SURPRISE. Everybody then laughs and forgets about the previous action.

Great if used as a hashtag on twitter as well.

Raptor Syndrome

When a man finds the perfect girl, or who he believes to be the perfect girl, and makes little attempts to befriend her. Although in the long run, he usually just hangs around her, to a point of near stalking until she disappears, then complains about how he let her go away.

People usually experience the Raptor syndrome multiple times in life, as the 'hunt' a certain type of girl.

Guy 1- "Man, I met this girl who is just like Girl 1, I wanna talk to her soo bad man, she's perfect"

Guy 2- "You gotta let go this Raptor Syndrome and just make a move man, you're pathetic"
