Vietnam-class war

Any current or future war that has the potential to last as long as the Vietnam war lasted for the U.S.

After Donald Rumsfeld declared on June 26, 2005, that the war in Iraq could last another 12 years, I thought that Iraq just might qualify as a Vietnam-class war!

A-class Warrior

One who takes only A-level classes and never challenges themselves with the intention of getting straight A's and boosting their GPA with no effort, even though they could easily be taking higher-level AP or honors classes. Similar to a gpa whore in nature, except not as extreme, and less of a try-hard. Similar in connotation to a Gym class warrior, being an A-class Warrior is not honorable and is frowned upon by actual smart people. Some National Honor Society clubs are full of A-class Warriors.

The only reason Tyra is in the top 10 is because she's an A-class Warrior.

class warfare

A political and military conflict between economic classes. The idea is typically identified with Marx, who characterized revolutions as conflicts between economic classses, when a new, growing class comes into conflict with an established upper class.

Used by the American "right wing", the term is used to accuse Democrats of attacking wealthy people. This is often rhetorically disguised so people may interpret it as an attack on the "middle class".

Class warfare

Whenever the democrats propose plans that will help the middle class, the republicans always accuse them of class warfare, primarily because the republicans don't have any substantive arguments to back up their regressive policies. Class warfare can't really be defined, because it doesn't really mean anything.

Barack Obama: My economic plan will benefit the middle class.

Bill O'Reilly: But that's class warfare!

Barack Obama: Um... what does that even mean?

Gym class warrior

That one super athletic kid in your gym class who tries too hard to win, and play with the gym teacher. They do this to show off their ability, but make it seem like that they don't actually care about winning.

We just lost dodgeball to a gym class warrior.
I felt bad when I lost volleyball to a gym class warrior, but then I realized that I had higher grades than him in all of my academic courses.
