A word cornballs on the internet use when they get called out for an opinion they fully believe in, thinking others would support them, and that having a terrible opinion would not backfire AT ALL. Mostly used when they're cornered or grasping at straws trying to survive.
*Video explains why firefighters have to break windows and cant pass the hose under the car 10 seconds in*

Illiterate cornball: Why cant they just pass the hose under the car instead of breaking windows?

Normal person: maybe watch the video for more than 10 seconds

Illiterate cornball: Its just ragebait bro

What happens when you manipulate someone's "Mad Spot" and make do something out of spite. Often seen on Social Media where people will say the most fucked up things for people to click on angrily and as a result, the Ragebaiter Wins.
It's also what 75% of Urban Dictionary feels like nowadays; there's some post that offends you intentionally so much you throw your phone/tablet/monitor/television thing off the building. A process Urban won't let me post without defining it as "Ragebait"
A thing said that is outlandish, immature, or improperly timed.

Often used by those who never left puberty, or having literally nothing better to do in their sad lives.
Jack was so notorious for his constant ragebait that when he was serious, no one ever knew.

Ragebait Meme Drone

A person that is addicted to feeling self-righteous rage stemming from a victim mindset. The have little to no understanding of the issues they champion beyond what they read in memes from the social media influencers they follow. They share these angry memes like mindless drones and identify with them, even if its for causes that would harm them personally, because they get a dopamine hit from being part of a wider social movement and fear being ostracized for thinking for themselves.
Ragebait Meme Drone: "Go Hamas!! Free Palestine from the River to the Sea! Stop Genocide!"
Person 2: "Aren't you LGBT? A feminist? Me too?"
Ragebait Meme Drone: "Yes! So?!"
Person 2: "You're literally supporting an organization that kills LGBT, subjugates women and whose whole purpose is genocide."
Ragebait Meme Drone: "How dare you talk about Hamas like that!? BLM told me to love them and go on dates with them!"

Ragebait-taker

Someone who consistently falls for content designed to provoke anger—a reliable source of outrage engagement for platforms and provocateurs. Ragebait-takers are predictable: show them something infuriating, and they'll react. Their anger fuels the internet's attention economy; their comments generate engagement; their outrage is content. They're not just consumers of ragebait; they're part of its production.
Ragebait-taker "She's a serial ragebait-taker—sees something inflammatory and immediately posts a furious reply. She thinks she's fighting injustice; actually, she's generating engagement for the very system she hates. Ragebait-takers keep the outrage machine running. Their anger is fuel, and the machine never runs out."

Schrodingers Ragebait

When somebody says something moronic, and realizes that the only way they can come back from this is by claiming it was ragebait.
Person 1: I honestly kind of like league of legends, it’s a pretty good game

Person 2: That’s the worst opinion I’ve ever heard

Person 3: We can’t be friends anymore, person 1.

Person 1: Uhhhhhh… ragebaited!!! Hahaha.

(Person 1 is using “Schrodingers Ragebait”)
