Obscure reference to the Simpsons: Monty Burns has just made a speech, and was getting booed out. When he asks his kiss-ass assistant if they're booing him, he replies "No, sir...they're saying boo-urns." He then asks the crowd, and they continue to boo him, save for Hans Moleman, who says "Well, I was saying boo-urns."

Exclamation. A cheer for The Simpsons character Montgomery Burns. Often used incorrectly by Canadians to suggest disproval of anything, rather than approval of Burns.

Obviously, "boo" and "Boo-urns" are two different and mutually exclusive words.

People who don't understand how to use the word or cannot understand the word's useage as it appeared on The Simpsons. Boo or boo-urns. There is no try.

A word orginating from Waylen Smithers in the episode of The Simpsons entitled A Star is Burns. Mr Smithers informs Mr Burns the crowd is not saying Boo Burns but Boo Urns.

Boo Urns thus is an alternative to saying Boo, if you wish to Boo someone or something without them actually knowing

me :That last customer was very boo-urns

me: Wolverine was so shite, Deadpool was only in it for 10 minutes

you: BOO-URNS!!!! BOO-URNS!!!

me : I have to finnsh work an hour later

you: That's freaking boo-urns we we're gonna go to the movies.
