Miss Universe is an beauty contest run by the Miss Universe organisation. Founded in 1960 it is now a New York based partnership between NBC and Donald Trump.

There are 3 major prestigious pageants which are Miss Teen USA, Miss USA and Miss Universe. Donald Trump owns part of these three biggest beauty pageants in the world.

To be accepted into any of these pageants you have to be savy, goal-oriented, beautiful and have a magnetic personality. If you make the cut you will then go onto the pageant.

Miss Universe has become a fixture of pop culture. It is also possible to advance your career through Miss Universe and you may also get special perks and prizes along with the recognition. Miss Universe is an American tradition.

when you're holding up your phone and making faces at it, as though you are taking a selfie, but you're really taking a picture of the person across from you or the wall or anything else that seems interesting but you don't want to be caught dead taking a picture of.

This action is often made more convincing by wiggling the eyebrows or opening the mouth, to pretend you're trying to get a Snapchat filter to work.
