Muddle Management

An Incompetent Middle Management structure that exists even when there are changes in upper management. Upper Management may want to set a new course of action, but is not well executed by the current inept middle management.

Lots of muddling around, with no results!

Roger: Hey, Dave! I heard you got a new CEO in your company.
Dave: Yes, but he won't accomplish anything, due to the current structure of Muddle Management in our group,. I swear, our company needs an enema at this level!

Muddle Management

A level of middle management in a company where there is a high level of incompetency, where management just muddles around and does nothing!

Roger: Hey, Dave! I heard your company just got a new CEO..

Dave: Yeah, but he isn't going to do anything. Our middle management is still around, muddling about doing nothing. They are the epitome is Muddle Management!

A person or persons whose sole reason for existing is to ensure maximum productivity from workers while paying them poverty wages.

American Workers: My productivity has risen 150% since Reagan's inauguration in 1981, but wages only went up 10%. I can't afford a house even if I got 10 years of wages on the spot and even the cost of an ambulance ride could make me homeless.

Middle Management: Too bad so sad. All the value from your productivity went into executive bonuses. Did you know? Bonuses are to be paid to upper management first, and then to workers if there's anything left over (hint: there isn't). That's the definition of a bonus as defined by Reagonomics.
