A term used by rednecks to refer to their friends. The friend tends to be of the same race however, it can be said to other races to show brotherhood.

Redneck: "What's up skin."
Friend: "Nothin' much."
Redneck: "We gonna go raise some hell tonight or what."

Skin 

Used often in the country rap genre, but it basically means nigga, but it’s the backwoods version.

It became popular because of a country rap artist that goes by Upchurch, his full name is Ryan Upchurch. He’s a primarily a country rap artist but often steps outside of that genre. He’s done traditional country, modern country, grunge rock, hip hop, and country rap. He’s kinda a jack of all trades.

His success is incredibly impressive considering he is a completely independent artist who is signed by no one. They only affiliations that he has with any organization is a sponsorship with Redneck Nation.

He has hundreds of millions of views on YouTube and one million on Instagram. Not to mention that one of his albums took Eminem’s Kamikaze’s place as No. 1 on ITunes billboard charts.

do you like holding hands?
I think its one of the most intimate things. Walking, holding hands. Sitting, holding hands. You don't, you can't do it with just anybody, right? When youre too cool, its cheesy, when youre not feeling it, its a show, when youre young it might be meaningless, when you feel old, it could be ridiculous. So why do people hold hands?

Is it the softness of your skin that reminds me of the tender, fragile bond that we have established. the careful rubbing against your fingers that tells me i am not alone, i can be taken care of even as an independent entity, i feel pleasure in sharing my skin, my feelings with you who would enjoy it too?
