To fake listening to someone’s concerns and pretend you are giving in to their viewpoint, all the while plotting to take it out on them later if they dare agree to the new deal you propose without meaning what you said
Dan reached a kompromise with Michelle when he agreed to "take things slow", even though he knew he would get some later that night.

A type of oxymoron.

Ask for more then you target amount of concessions from the opposition party. Then argue down to you what you originally wanted to begin with giving the illusion of compromise.
Billy wanted a cookie so he demand three from his mother. She said no, so he made a GOP Compromise and ask for one cookie. Not wanting to see a melt-down his mom gave him one cookie.

Republican compromise

The act of tricking someone more powerful than you into giving you what you say you want, and then throwing said item on the ground (metaphorically or for real) and spitting in their face.
Thanks, Obama, for giving us some tax cuts and taking out stuff that you wanted... but we're not gonna vote for your stimulus bill anyway. None of us. That's what we call a "Republican compromise". Sucker!
