Collabortion 

Compound word consisting of abortion and collaboration.

When a group of two or more use some form of collaboration medium in an inappropriate manner, resulting in wasted time. Also applies to the extensive or misguided use of the wrong medium for collaborative purposes.
"Occupy's use of Facebook is more collaborition, than effective communication."

"Tim has turned this meeting into a collabortion."

Any constructive educational and intellectual practice that aims to facilitate optimal learning outcomes through interaction between students
Some school in the suburbs might have a legitimate collaboration

Collaboration 

The idea that everyone can work together and produce something better than they could on their own with less work.
Often results in more work for 1-2 members of the group who receive little help
Group Member #1: So lets get started on this project
Group Member #2: Yeah this is going to be easy
Group Member #3: You two can do it on your own and put my name on it okay?

A group of two or more men who get together for the the purpose of problem solving, merry making or other actions related to short and/or long term gains.
With their wives out of town, Will and Jake's collabroation at the local watering hole lasted well into the evening.
