annus horribilis

From Latin; literally "a horrible year." A year in which practically everything that can go wrong, goes wrong. The opposite of annus mirabilis.
From the death of David Bowie to the election of Donald Trump, 2016 was a perfect example of an annus horribilis

Does Ursus Horribilis defecate in a deciduous forest biome?

student: Are we going to have a pop quiz today?
science teacher: Does Ursus Horribilis defecate in a deciduous forest biome?
student: WTF?

hossibility

When a guy fully agrees to a friend's invitation or plan, and then blows it off for weed or vagina instead. Usually includes a far-fetched followup excuse.
Trev: "You coming to my birthday party or what, Hoss?"
Nate: "Fo sho, dawg. I don't see any reason why not."

Nate (three days later via txt): "Sorry bro, wanted to to go out but had to work on my ex-boss's laptop all weekend"
Trev: "Ya right dude. I could tell it was a hossibility"

Horribilisation

The opposite of, and sometimes masquarading as, urban beautification. An act, usually by a municiple authority, that in its attempt to regenerate an area destroys any soul or attractiveness it once contained. Town planning gone wrong.
Have you seen the horribilisation they've done down the high street with that new shopping centre.
