Phrase was inspired by the kid in elementary we all knew, who was nice, but none of us wanted to be around because s/he had a faint smell of urine to them.

B: Who was that guy you were talking to?
J: Guy I used to go to high school with. Haven't seen him in a while.
B: Cool, invite him to the Halloween party.
J: Naah, he's a nice guy, but he smells like piss and broken dreams.
B: Damn, you're nice.
J: No, trust me, I'm doing you a favor.

A song by American punk band, Green Day.
It is seen on track no.4 of American Idiot album.
Only a posuer would answer 'Boulevard of Broken Dreams' to the question; 'What is your favourite Green Day song?'

Although it is criticised that Boulevard of Broken Dreams is a 'posuer song',as I mentioned above, its music video has won a number of awards such as; MTV Video Music Awards, Video od the year, Best Rock Video and many more. And the song itself was named Record of the Year at the Grammy Awards 2006.

me: 'hey, what's your favourite song by Green Day?'
posuer: 'Boulevard of Broken Dreams and...American Idiot!'
me: 'That's it? Don't you know other songs by them? there's tons of others! Like Redundant, Longview, When I come around, Walking Contradiction....(goes on forever)'

comes from men, who are bastards.

A guy says, "i love you" girl thinks "oh yes, i love you too"
Guy then after about 4 weeks says.. " i didn't mean i love you love you.. as in i care for you"
Girl then goes off and has her heart shattered into a million pieces, over and over again until it crumbles into dust and nothing can repair it. Girl then becomes bitter, and hates the world.

When the parents begin fighting and yelling n shit and eventually they get so outrageously mad that the dad starts brutally hammering their coffee table out of pure rage. This phrase is how the child in the family would commonly respond after seeing the destroyed table.

Wife: I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF YOUR NEGLECT!
Husband: SHUT UP OKAY, JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP!
Wife: YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR PROBLEM IS??? YOU DON'T EVEN CARE ABOUT THIS FAMILY!!!!!!! ALL YOU DO ALL DAY IS SIT AROUND ON YOUR LAZY ASS—
Husband: MOTHERFUCKER!!!!!!!! *inflicts multiple frenzied blows against the fragile coffee table*
Wife: *inaudibly cries in the bedroom*
5 minutes of silence later
7 y/o son: *comes out of the room* oh no... our table... it's broken!
