Historical Footnotes

The discription of a fictional novels presence to real life events.

In the story's of Harry Potter for example:

Harry's train ride is an example of children on orphan trains in the united States being transferd from urban to rural places.
Other Historical Footnotes include:
Dumbledore's demeanor and diplomatic wisdom resembles that of Sir. Winston Churchill.

The story's also parrallel Cold War Themes of evil, power, threats, devestation and division. Like countries, people are conquerd, controlled and devoured by evil powers as represented by Ginny, saying that the heir of Slytherin "took me over." Because he is a warewolf, Lupin was denied employment and blacklisted like the McCarthy-era communists, and he acted like a World War II conspirator by remaining passive and justifying his silence. sirius Black could be misunderdtood and falsley acussed like "The man in the Iron Mask," exiled like nepoleon, traped like the princess in the tower or like a prisioner of war for example. These are just a few ideas that taugh me alot in writing.

historical

–adjective
Any lame event that one of your dumb ass friends believes that either you or they witnessed or performed first. There's simply no way in Hell anyone else could have ever experienced something remotely similar.
Your dump was so rancid it was historical!

Did you see the bitch that Kent nailed the other night? Historical!

Historical Crap Anime

A form of Anime which perverts Human History.
One of their most disgusting features is trying to put all Anime things into historical events.
You can see "Historical Crap Anime" in films or shorts with these weird Anime-like characters wearing
Nazi uniforms but still sporting long hair and features so prevalent in that sort of crap. Anime history also shows Ancient Romans and medieval knights or even French sans-culottes in anime form like wearing armour that resembles Kingdom Hearts armour and stuff.

They also disregard all historical accuracy just to show that in the realm of culture...Anime Rules.

Historical accuracy

A characteristic that works of fiction, by definition, do not possess. Oftentimes invoked by disillusioned young men as a white nationalist dog whistle when discussing triple-A video games on the internet.
Man, I used to really enjoy jumping from my helicopter and hijacking a plane in mid-air in Battlefield but it's just not the same without the historical accuracy

The Last of Us 2 had historical accuracy for about 3 hours but then it stopped having it

Utterly disappointed by the lack of historical accuracy in the Cyberpunk 2077 character creation options

Historically Near-Sighted

a historically near-sighted person is someone who can only remember recent history, wether it be in the recent few centuries or even just the recent few years.
July 4, John: do you realize that a year ago today we had to use bread slices instead of buns for hot dogs?
Bob: do you also that realize today is when america became independent? John: REALLY? Bob: yes, its taught in history class. John: oh, sorry, i didn't know that becuase im historically near-sighted.
