Sports twilight zone 

It is the time when a man is preoccupied in any sports-related activity which include any sport fantasy games, and he cannot hear a word spoken to him; maybe even sometimes become agitated when being 'bothered.'

1. Whenever I try to talk to my boyfriend, javier, during a football game, he doesn't hear a word I'm saying; he must be in the Sports Twilight Zone.

2. My friend's boyfriend gets pissed off whenever she asks him questions during the basketball game.

Wifi twilight zone

The area around the outside of a wifi network where your cell phone thinks it has signal, and so shuts off your mobile network, but can't actually connect, leaving you with no internet at all.

Sorry I keep getting disconnected, I'm walking through a wifi twilight zone right now.

The Twilight Zone 

A terrible and suffocating atmosphere, specifically pertaining to those generated by the whole high school scene (i.e., Sadie's, Homecoming, spirit rallies, the SPL, etc.). Usually something lame and pathetic occurs which makes one cringe at the sight.

"Nicole and I were shamefully hanging out at the SPL in my car and having a sad good time when these teenage boys started doing pop a wheelies on their bikes in the middle of the parking lot at, like, 11:00 at night. We couldn't even believe what we were seeing. Then the windows starting fogging up from our incessant laughter, which made the whole experience even more surreal. And the whole thing was illuminated by an orange street light. It was like The Twilight Zone."

Twilight Zoner 

Someone who is either permanently or temporarily stuck in the twilight zone; an individual not quite in sync with reality.

Girlfriend: "Who did you have lunch with yesterday?"
Boyfriend: "Noone. Grabbed something to go while I was working."
G: "That's funny, Lisa snapped a photo of you with someone."
B: "Totally forgot that was yesterday, she was a vendor from work. We had business to discuss."
Lisa: "B is such a Twilight Zoner."
