to see everyone the exact same (Equal) regardless of sex, race, religion, creed, or genetics. Example: a white woman and a black man whom have never met both kill there children, the woman is let go because she's not responsible for her actions while the man is condemned to the chair. in an equalists eyes they both deserve the same punishment for the same crime

the judge sentenced them both to life for murder because he is an equalist and believes they are both adults and know better.

People who believe in equality of the sexes but are misinformed about feminism's goals, and dislike feminist radical personalities.

Equalism is an offshoot of feminism for people who don't like being labelled a feminist.

"A lot of women think they actually believe in equalism, because feminism means that women are superior."
"No, feminism means that the sexes should be equal. Look it up!"
"Yeah but I don't like feminists, they don't act like they think that"
"Well, it's still the definition of the movement, regardless of how its supporters act. But call yourself an equalist if you want"

Equalist

A movement started in response to the more aggressive and crude proponents of feminism. Equalists claim to support equal rights for all. However, instead of fighting for the rights of the minorities they claim to represent, they seem to spend all their time bashing feminism. Many people who claim to be one are true to their word, but most people just want to put down civil rights leaders without seeming like a sexist and/or racist.

Equalist: As an equalist I support the rights of all human beings. I want equal rights for blacks, whites, men, women, the disabled, christians, muslims ... Everybody!

Me: So have you actually done anything for any of those groups?

Equalist: Well... no, not exactly... but someday I'm gonna.
