Aggressive Support

when a transphobe gets confused and, in an attempt to intentionally misgender a trans person, accidentally use the right pronouns or gendered language while still using transphobic language.
Trans woman: *makes a coming out post on social media*
Transphobe: "YOU'LL NEVER BE A MAN, YOU'RE A WOMAN BECAUSE GOD MADE YOU THAT WAY"
Trans woman: "Thank you for the Aggressive Support."

aggressive shrimp

A term referring to an insecure man with a small ego and an even smaller... well, you know. This individual compensates for his shortcomings by belittling women, showcasing a regrettable blend of toxicity and an unsuccessful quest for validation.
Person A: "Did you see Jake talking down to Sarah again?"
Person B: "Yeah, classic Aggressive Shrimp move. His insecurities are showing, and it's not impressing anyone."

Passive-Aggressive Strategic Incompetence

A deliberate and calculated behavior exhibited by an organization or its members, particularly law enforcement agencies, where they feign misunderstanding or lack of capability to fulfill a legal or formal request for information. This tactic is employed as a means of evasion to avoid accountability, transparency, or the disclosure of information that could implicate the organization in illegal activities or misconduct. It is characterized by an outward appearance of cooperation or innocence, masking an intentional effort to obstruct justice or the rightful access to information. This behavior is passive-aggressive in nature because it avoids direct confrontation or refusal while actively working against the requester's aims to uncover truth or obtain justice.

This definition encapsulates the manipulative and obstructive nature of the behavior, emphasizing its purpose as a strategy to evade legal and moral responsibilities.
The police department's refusal to provide the requested documents, coupled with their pretense of not understanding the clear terms of the FOIA request, is a classic case of passive-aggressive strategic incompetence designed to shield themselves from scrutiny.

Workplace Aggression

Logically enough workplace aggression is specifically aggression that occurs in the workplace. It is commonly found within a toxic workplace and can include a variety of unpleasant behaviours. These can range from verbal, (insulting people, spreading rumours, telling lies or maliciously instituting grievance procedures), to physical attacks (pushing, slapping, punching or attacking with a weapon). It’s the sort of behaviour which, if it was carried out on the street would, in many cases result in arrest by the police or prosecution in the Civil Courts.
Workplace aggression is a symptom of a toxic workplace.

Workplace Cyber-aggression

Workplace cyber-aggression takes place through emails or text messages which are intended to threaten or intimidate. They may also be emails or texts which have offensive content such as sexist or racist material or expressions of religious hatred or homophobia. What is different about this form of aggression, compared to more traditional forms, is that it is not limited to work colleagues but can come from people outside the organisation, or even in the form of spam.

The phenomenon of cyber aggression seems to have originated with teenagers who have grown up with the internet and electronic communication. They have brought this familiarity with them into the workplace and do not appreciate that this workplace cyber-aggression is just as hurtful as any other sort of aggression.

Workplace cyber-aggression is often the result of individuals within the workplace being offended, upset or feeling threatened by problems within the workplace and who resort to this form of virtual communication as a means of retaliation. This action, directed at a person or persons within the organisation, is frequently referred to as flaming. Along with workplace bullying and workplace aggression, workplace cyber aggression can be a symptom of a toxic workplace.
If workplace cyber-aggression is endemic in your workplace, find a new job.

Cyber Aggression

Cyber aggression is aggression between individuals that occurs online, usually a one-off occurrence or at most happens only occasionally. Interestingly, when it happens, the aggressor has no power over the target of the aggression or there is no intention to cause harm or distress to the target of the aggression, which possibly explains the frequently heard advice “Don’t tweet when you’re pissed.”
In some cases, however, cyber aggression is rather more sinister, when an individual used an online relationship to deliberately intimidate, emotionally harm, manipulate or exercise power over another person when online.
Cyber aggression is becoming more frequent as more people go online, could this be another form of culture clash, or is it just because some people are nasty, shitty bastards?
