Toking up 

A square way of talking about smoking bud as if it was maybe your first time or you frown upon the activity.
As in one considers himself above others when high or up in this case.
As in one shuffles his worries away from a complex level to an elevated higher level while and after one's doobie of flower is incomplete combusted.

When one blunders their syntax and adds -ing to toke, as in take a toke of marijuana smoke.

Usually to specifically define the inhalation of mary jane, marijuana, medijuana, medijuan, or medi1a.

Is that why he's laughing hysterically intermittently?

Ya must be the reefer.

He's obviously been toking up again.
