A site that is commonly linked to by Internet trolls in order to shock unsuspecting users with the image.

And now, the origins of this madness:
The alt attribute on the image, "stinger", actually comes from the EFNet #quake channel. The image itself was discovered on a webpage. Goatse.cx was created by a #quake member expressly for the purpose of displaying the image.
The image hello.jpg originates from a set of 40 images depicting the man performing various anal sexual acts.

Die, goatse man. Die die die die die. Something involving rusty hooks and salt, hopefully.

Named for the address of the original website, (goatse.cx) which has since been taken down but not before achieving Internet noteriety. See also tubgirl.

The website featured a man bending over with two hands stretching apart the largest bodily orifice in the world. You could see inside several inches deep.

Since then, parody websites have sprung up showing everything from stretched-apart doorways to red-filling-ed cookies.

"Heh. No really, Aunt Sally. I swear goatse.cx has the best apple pie recipes on the Internet."

"Oh god! The Grand Canyon looks just like Goatse! No burro ride for me, thanks!"

Goatse 

A disgusting picture of a man stretching his anus extremely wide. One of the oldest jokes on the internet is to link the picture to internet forums and chatrooms, renamed to look like something else like "happybunnies.jpg" . Often causes people to freak out.

When a guy spreads out his a$$hole with his hands as far as it will will stretch.
Really gross.
Sadly, it's normally one of the first things someone sees on the internet, whether they get emailed it as a joke (It says "Click here for cute bunny pictures" when it's actually goatse) or they just stumble apon it.
It supposidly is a fetish for some. But, you just gotta think "Who the eff likes that?" since it's so gross.

NOTE: If you're reading this because you don't know what goatse is, DON'T google it! You'll be scarred for LIFE!!

origin: the website goatse.cx, which was itself a play on the words "goat sex," whose home page photo featured, well, you don't wanna know.
