Castach is originated form an army term or more like it an initials of an army term called "Lechsot et Hatachat" which means covering your ass.

For example in many cases especially in voluntary armies a sergeant / commander doing things in order to say "I followed Procedure" that act is called "Castach" which is as mentioned "Covering Ass".

Fauci covering 

Any type of face covering, covering all or part of the face, that proves, as the name suggests, that you are either a fauci groupie or a fauci groundhog or both.

A fauci covering is not limited to the cloth mask. It can also include items such as a gas mask or a diving helmet, if fauci wants you to wear those.(for those who don't know, a diving helmet is the ancestor to modern scuba diving mask).
