mooring line

A line or cable used to secure marine vessels to berths during the docking process. An example of a particularly thick mooring line is a hawser.

I use multiple mooring lines to prevent my ship from drifting from port and causing collisions.

Morningnoon

A playful blend of morning and noon, used by late risers to greet the day after midday. It acknowledges waking up past noon while still claiming the freshness of “morning.” Lets others know to expect common morning behaviors in the afternoon. Can be used to poke a little fun at people who stay up too late.
