The term "sketch" or "sketchy" refers to a person or situation that is a little strange or out of place. Usually when someone says something is sketch it means they want nothing to do with it.
Guy "Hey did you see that sketch-ass guy in the coat just staring at you? He looked so weird!"
Girl "Yes! It creeped me out. It was so sketchy."

used to define anything out of the ordinary, definitely not normal. Can be used in various instances with the usual connotation of drug behavior, however it doesn't have to.
Ordering stuff online can be sketch sometimes, there's always the possibility it won't arrive as promised.

2 <verb> to sketch out
To worry or panic. Often used to refer to paranoia induced by smoking weed, but can refer to worrying/panicking when sober. A synonym is prang.
Alan: "Man why did the dealer insist on meeting us here? This place is sketch as fuck!"

Peter: "Stop sketching out! We'll be fine!"

Alan: "Why are you so calm? This dealer is one sketchy motherfucker!"
