Soft talk

Soft talk is akin to mumbling, it refers to a public interaction between an employee and a customer wherein one member of the party speaks just softly enough so the other person cannot quite hear all of the sentence. However, you can use soft talk as an action phrase, deliberately soft talking someone, often times in a restaurant or other high volume occupation.e
"Hi folks, what can I get for you?! " "Oh, yes, um, I'll have a greatfull dead and my girlfriend will have a glass of the pin*** ***igio and a moi** ****ette."

Or in action form... "Have a great night!" "Go f*** your **ther..." "Wait, what?" "Too late, you've been soft talked"
