Interlochen

Hogwarts for artists. A small, freezing, magical bubble in the woods of northern Michigan. An artistic haven. A sanctuary from the noise and chaos of the outside world. A high school experience like no other - filled with ups and downs, but home nonetheless. Even when you leave the bubble, it will follow you everywhere you go.

I went to Interlochen Arts Academy for my senior year of high school and it was the best thing that ever happened to me.

When talking about boarding arts High schools, the name Idyllwild often comes up. Interlochen is known as the "other Idyllwild". Interlochen is known for taking in the kids that Idyllwild denies admission.

I got rejected from Idyllwild, better pack my bags for Interlochen!

Interlochen Arts Academy 

the best boarding school ever. Full of amazing artists who major in music, dance, creative writing, visual arts or film making. Only accept 500 kids. definitely the best boarding school, not full of snobby polo wearers... these kids have a uniform! Not a freak show, everyone is so down to earth and the campus is beautiful.
