Mr. Science

A term used to mock the anthropomorphization of the systematic enterprise known as Science done by intellectually lazy political activists and college freshman who believe that they're well informed because they clicked on a facebook science article.

Individuals who quote "science" like it was a living person can regularly be found following the Facebook page "I Fucking Love Science" or most science/tech pages on Reddit.
Dumb Asshole #1: Science says that essential oils can cure cancer!
Joe: Really? When did Mr. Science say that?

Dumb Asshole #2: Did you hear that science found traces of micro-bacteria on asteroids?
Other Joe: I didn't know Mr. Science was an astronaut!
