Literal meaning is someone who is of helping nature and always ready to help at the first call. This person is very difficult to understand unless they let you in. They have a very unique personality and people always seem to misunderstand them. They are also very insecure about themselves. They have a hard time trusting people. If they someone slightly better than themself, their insecurity will just rise higher. In the end, its because they are so pure and have huge admiration for everyone around them.

Someone who doesn't care much about anything except for themselves, especially in a time of need. They tend to put themselves first in every situation.
