Inserting small inconsequential bits of false information into websites with user edited content (e.g. Wikipedia etc), usually prompted due to a desire to not leave ones dwelling due to the harshness of winter and having grown bored of any other available entertainment. Believed to have originated in Montreal.
A Shackteau is a humble, weather-beaten, structurally questionable shelter located in a spectacular or highly coveted place—Wales, Jackson Hole, Sun Valley, Crested Butte, coastal Maine, the Alps—where the building itself may be worth almost nothing, but the dirt, view, access, and mythology make it absurdly valuable.
