LUV

Large Unnecessary Vehicle. Refers to a subpar SUV with no true function or sense of style to justify its size and existence. Also can refer to a huge pickup truck that’s being used for looks instead of work, often with an extended bed and multiple gas tanks.

I think the Chevy Suburban’s my least favorite LUV, but when I see the Hummer H2, I realize I’m wrong.

Situationship

A term used in reference to intimate relations practiced by people who are uncomfortable with both relationships and relationship anarchy because they can’t wrap their minds around the concept of genuine companionship that happens to include sex — because apparently ‘FWB’ doesn’t refer to actual friendship — unless it is constantly being forced into a concrete, restrictive, linguistic definitions because of the idea that if there are feelings, the dynamic must change to use relationship labels to coddle our insecurities instead of working to improve ourselves.

Person 1: I’m in this situationship…
Person 2: what’s that?
Person 1: like friends with benefits but actual friends and I just don’t want to make light of the fact that we’re still friends and not some mystical third category just because we like each other.

Person 2: got it, continue…
Person 1: anyway it means literally nothing to me.

Queer Cut

A popular haircut especially among queer people, particularly the androgynous, typically defined by hair of medium or longer hair with both sides of the head shaved or buzzed off. Occasionally miserably attempted to be appropriated by the straights.

I just got the queer cut, so either I’m gay or have been living in California for too long.

A type of nude that is badly taken, often with bad lighting, weird angles, generally taken quickly and without thought, probably one-handed.

This nude they sent is so grindrcore. It’s just them with their dick out in a bathroom with their pants around their ankles.

A descriptor applied to a feminine man. See also: the sound most pants make when you walk, or according to some people, the sound that some long or large skirts make when they’re moved around.
