She has monopolized popular culture in japan today with not only her keen sense of style and fashion but also her hard work ethic. She is not only a JPOP star but has also branched out into ballads and trance through her numerous Cybertrance albums and Ayu-mi-Mix's. She appears in many magazines and on many shows including singing her hit "Evolution" for the New Millenium. Japan's most popular singer alongside JPOP king Gackt. Voice may not be as good as Utada Hikaru but sure has fantastic songs which are more uptempo.
