Teletoon

Canadian Cartoon Network. Available in both French and English, due to the country's bilinguism. Used to have a Teletoon at Night segment, which would be equivalent to Adult Swim, though it was closed on March 31st, 2019 (though it still exists in the French version of Teletoon) and got replaced with, well, Adult Swim.

Canadian: Hey did you see that new episode of Teen Titans Go on Teletoon yesterday at 8?
French Canadian: What? Wasn't it a Total Dramarama episode?
American: What the hell is a Teletoon?

My favorite place to write negative definitions for words I don't like or to sneak inside jokes into definitions even though they say not to do it.

Imagine using Urban Dictionary as a legitimate dictionary lmao. Half the definitions are about sex and the other half are about politics.

GIF

A hopelessly outdated image format that is nowadays mostly used for animated pictures. Has ridiculous limitations such as a maximum of 256 colors and inefficient compression but keeps being used because none of the superior alternative formats ever caught on. Also, nobody seems to be able to agree on the pronounciation, for some reason.

Person: Woah, nice GIF you got there. Sucks you can see so much banding from those pesky color limitations.
GIPHY: So, are you gonna use a GIF in your definition or not?
Person: Nah, wouldn't be caught dead using one of those things. It's not like GIPHY even really uses GIFs. They're all just looped MP4s.
