Describes landscapes so beautiful that they can't be described in words. Comes from the Adirondacks, a mountain range in upper New York State. Pronounced "a-dih-ron-DACK-you-ler".

Not really a "slap" in the traditional use of the word,but a sharp clicking sound produced by flicking the index and middle fingers of one hand against a channel of air created by a space between some of the fingers of the other hand. This is an extremely difficult maneuver to produce and seems to be an attention-getting sound used by Armenians from Armenia itself.
