Lusca

The giant octopus in City of Heroes. Occasionally spawns around the Brickstown road entrance in Independence Port. Defeating Lusca will earn you the Devilfish badge. Better not go at it alone though because it will kick your ass.

Similar to the above, but should be noted that it is most often used in IM sessions for shorthand expressing disregard for a previous statement, or malcontent for the others actions or neglect.

This has also been ported over to speech, where you can say the laters as written, or more easily expressed by saying "Dub d dub".

disco 2000

Weekly wednesday night party at the notorious limelight club in NYC that peaked in the mid '90s. The club was eventually shut down amid drug-dealing scandal involving "house dealers" who sold and worked for the club. The individual who started the party, michael alig is currently in jail for murder of another Disco 2000 regular. This party has inspired several books and movies.

Nothing compares to Disco 2000, but those days are gone.
