dork light

an extra brake light usually in the back window or on the trunk lid which supposedly reduces the chances of being rear-ended, so named because of their some somewhat dorky appearance, dork lights became mandatory on all new cars beginning in 1986

I hate it when I tap my brakes and get a flash of red from the dork light in my back window it makes me think I'm getting pulled over or something

idiot bar

a device found on most newer lawn mowers that will shut the mower off if you let go of the handle so as to prevent some idiot from sticking their hand under a lawn mower while it is running, a similiar device found on a snow blower or other gas powered equipment

The thing I hate about mowing the lawn is when you take your hand off the idiot bar for just a second to move something out of the way and you have to restart the mower.

conversational graffitti

When somebody writes a response to graffitti that is already on restroom wall

I used the restroom at a truckstop and somebody had written on the inside of the stall "Bush's head is so far up his ass that his sphinctor is wrapped around his neck and is cutting off oxygen to his brain". Underneath that I wrote "what brain?". This is an example of conversational graffitti.

barking cat

derogatory term for a small dog such as a chihuahua or a pekingese

I was hoping my girlfriend would get a real dog like a german shepard or something that could guard the house, but she just got a damn barking cat.

a warning light found on many late model cars usually in the shape of a gas pump that lets the driver know the car is low on fuel

I better stop and get some gas my car's feed me light just came on.

daylight wasting time

a more appropriate term for daylight saving time since a lot of time is wasting on the silly ritual of resetting clocks a couple times a year

I hate daylight wasting time, it's such a hassle resetting all my clocks, at least the time on my cell phone resets itself automatically.
