The relationship between a man and woman when they (usually the woman)decide to not take it beyond the platonic level. A woman's request to be "just good friends" can come as a disappointment to the man, who's ultimate goal is usually to have sex with every woman on Earth.

I was just about to tap that, when she said we should be "just good friends."
